I didn’t write the title… tis what’s playing in the background cause I couldn’t think of anything better. Team Zombie Slut on Paper
As everyone knows I’ve been a super busy person. I feel like one of those chickens running around without a head. At night, I’m so drained… I just… zone out without falling asleep. I mean, I’m always like that but it’s worse when stress is running on high. (**Post edit 2017. This paragraph is proof of my ADHD. I was recently evaluated and confirmed I’ve been a true space cadet for 33 years.)
But anyway, I want to apologize for the slow posting of Bailing Out into the Dead. I’m trying to drag it out as long as possible. Trust me, I have a certain sibling who asks me all the time…
*When are posting a new chapter?* (Whenever I can edit it)
*When is the new book coming out?* (Not tomorrow)
LOL! Yep, gotta love her enthusiasm, it’s contagious. Anyway, I just wanted to give her a shout out because she just graduated with honors in biology and pre-med with a minor in chemistry. She’ll be starting med school before summer even closes out. Congrats, Alisha! (I <3 you, hookah!)
She will be very stoked to hear that Mac’s backstory (roughly 10,000 words) will be published in an anthology… All I know about it is, it’s an anthology featuring zombie stories written by women (some are even contributing small books) and it will be FREE!!!!!!  The title and cover will be coming soon.
Speaking of covers.
Controlling the Dead’s cover… might be modified…slightly (I hate the word slightly almost as much as I hate the word soon) I’m having a hard time getting the print cover together how I want it with the current cover. If that makes sense… we’ll see though, I still need to play around with it some more. Time is crunching. I wish I could buy time. It would be worth shelling out some cash to have a few weeks on hold.
Also, the publishing of Bailing Out into the Dead is on hold (Until after the whole thing is posted and Controlling the Dead is released), I have decided it will also be free for the first few days (for you guys who continuously support and read me- okay, that sounds weird, but you know what I mean. Please note* the published copy will be revised and worth having on your ereader).
Another thing I have been up to is drawing. I think I have some graphite permanently stuck on my hands and face. It’s not the drawing, but the vectorizing I’m having trouble with. My character drawings are detailed and that takes skill in illustrator (and A LOT of time), but I’m learning. I recently finished a vector graphic for a T-shirt that several friends and I will be wearing at the UtopYA book convention.
It’s not perfect, but I like it.
My character graphics will be a lot more gritty, though. This is also a reason my new site has not went live. I’m doing my own designing and learning as I go.
Don’t forget the signing I’ll be participating in June 27th at the Preston Hotel in Nashville, TN.
Or my post for Zombie Craze:
Oh, the fan questions are blowing my mind. I love them!! But they have kind of slowed down… I’ll up the ante. Everyone who asks a question (whether I answer it or not)… will receive the limited edition swag. Yes, this is quite a few people, but really… can you blame me? With questions like, if you were to be made into a statue, what would your pose be? Seriously?!?! How awesome and off the wall is that question? Obviously, you guys deserve some cool stuff thrown your way! Ask your question here! That’s all I’ll say about it.
Good things come to those who wait and all that rot.
