New Site Make Over!!

Hello fellow zombie minions!

I haven't been blogging from the amount of To-Do's on my to-do list.

This coming up week, if you stumble upon my blog and it looks a little weird... well, that is because it is getting a face lift along with a domain. =)

Thanks for any patience you may render upon me. I'll be back to blogging about nothing important in no time at all.

I've been having some serious fun with ZombieBooth. It is this really cool app that turns a picture into a zombie and even a video if you want! 

I happened upon this app from Ashley and her Zombie Craze 2012 contest.

I also tried that Ugly Meter... it is supposed to tell you how ugly you are. Of course, I was afraid of what it would say, who wouldn't be? No one wants to hear they're ugly. I download thinking I can upload the best picture I have, well no dice. You have to take the picture right then and there.

Me? In my PJ's and messy hair? So, I did... and I really don't think it works because I rated a .8. I'm so sexy science can't explain me. LOL! Okay, there is probably a little truth to this.

This movie really needs no explanation. As we all know, King Kong is about a woman that is pursued by a giant ape and ends in New York on top of the empire state building.

 A favorite scene of mine, when Kong drops a woman to her death because he picked her up thinking she was Ann, was cut and not restored until the 70's. There were several other scenes that were done this way too.

Yeah, it is. Apparently some dumb ass asked this particular question, and the answer is, "Yeah, if you happened upon Sasquatch, you could kill him because he isn't listed as a game animal."

Random Facts:

1. I'm not a talker. I absolutely hate being the center of attention, and get uncomfortable when I'm put on the spot. Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol sometimes solves this fluke of mine.

2. I once projectile vomited from a low spinal fluid headache after a spinal tap. It was so cool, I'll never forget it. I felt like I was possessed by a demon. Maybe I shouldn't state this fact. Oh well.

3. I have severe road rage. Bad drivers make me want to get extremely violent. Similar to Michael Douglas in the movie, Falling Down. Some people should not have a driver's license. Just sayin'.


Now to pass on this award! This is hard because I visit so many cool horror blogs, and it is difficult to keep up with them all! But one person did come to mind immediately:

If you haven't checked out his all horror blog, you should. There are things I would have missed out on, if it wasn't for his blog. Especially when it comes to Indie Horror. He posts trailers, reviews, collections, and any kind of horror news. I know!! He rocks!

May Monster Madness Day 4

Sarah Rodriguez... Aka: Wolfie, Alpha female of the Crimson Blood Wolf Pack

I don't know if any of you have ever heard of Wolfie Blackheart. She came to light when accused of beheading a dog. Apparently she is into Taxidermy. She claims she would never hurt a dog because she is canine.

I find this interesting, only because I like strange stuff... I couldn't stop watching the videos, but I guess you can make up your own mind. 

She likes human girls. I mean, is this her preferred type of meat? Didn't sound like that was what she was saying. It is gigantic news to me that wolves can be lesbians, but you are who you are I suppose.

This video was the newest. As you can see her "pack" has grown. It even has a few males.

Wolfie getting all this attention has caused some kind of mass hysteria... as I was searching through videos, there are more and more teens claiming to be the lupine species.

For the record, I have nothing against werewovles. Or lesbians. Or teens searching for ways to fit in and feel accepted.

Hopefully, no animals were hurt during the shootings of these videos. Don't forget about my giveaway and the other May Monster Madness participants!

I just wanted to get a few things straight and give some news...

I have so much news and so many changes... where do I start?

I am super stoked and more than a little bit shocked at the response my cover reveal created. I am very happy there are so many of you impatiently awaiting The Famished Book One. I still can't get over it.
If you missed the reveal, check out some of the response! Ashley, the Zombie Queen and my favorite Book Brunette, revealed the cover on her Zombie infested blog!

Every e-mail, every message, every tweet, every instant alert, every question makes my day extra special. Thank you for all the support and kind words! 

It all comes down to this question, "When is Taking on the Dead available and where can I buy it?"

BIG NEWS HERE ~~~> I have, for my own reasons, disbanded from my publisher. 

With that said, I am working my tushy off to get this book to you! Taking on the Dead is my first priority. I put all other writing projects on hold (the last four months of my life were not completely wasted). 

I have a fan-tabulous editor that I am working with, ONE on ONE. I am also doing some minor rewrites of my TotD manuscript. Here is the thing, I want it to be the best it can be before anyone reads it. I would rather push back the publish date than to just publish it.

MORE BIG NEWS ~~~> Since I will be self-publishing, my book WILL be available in print. There were a few people who asked me about getting it in print and of course I said, "It will be a while, if ever." Well, now that it is no longer up to a publisher, I'm printing a month out from eBook release.

Now, the big question! When is the thing going to be published? I was hoping to have a specific date by now, but I don't. I do know that I will tell you as soon as I know and it won't be any later than this summer. 

I do plan on having a rockin' book blog tour and major swag bags to go along with it. 

OTHER BIG NEWS ~~~> I am working on my own domain name with a brand new WEBSITE!! Yippy Skippy! I will still have my blog to post all my randomness on... it will just be attached to an awesome site!

It feels good to be moving forward, making things happen.
